National Cooperation Week from November 14

MANGALORE: Dakshina Kannada District Cooperative Union Ltd. convened a special meeting of all officials of the Department of Cooperation, cooperative organisations as well as senior cooperators in connection with the National Cooperation Week to be observed from November 14, here on Tuesday. M.N. Rajendra Kumar, president, Karnataka State Apex Cooperative Bank Ltd., guided the deliberations. According to a press release from P.B. Diwakar Rai, president of the union discussed the modalities of observing the 53rd All India Cooperation Week 2006 in a befitting manner. Mr. Rai said the meeting resolved to observe the week as per the guidelines issued by the National Cooperative Union.
