Harkat militant surrenders in Kashmir

Srinagar: Security forces arrested a militant in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, while another one surrendered on Tuesday evening.

On Tuesday night, police recovered the body of Abdul Karim, who was abducted and killed by militants in Udhampur district, a police spokesman said. Karim, a resident of Lancha in Mahore tehsil, was killed with a sharp weapon. The spokesman said security forces arrested a militant at Tantraypora-Tangmarg in Baramulla district.

Two grenades, one AK magazine and ten rounds of ammunition were recovered.
