BANGALORE: Dr. Rajkumar Health Care Institute, aimed at caring for people affected by AIDS, was launched on Wednesday.

Parvathamma Rajkumar, wife of the late thespian, inaugurated the institution at an informal function at the Samadhi of Rajkumar.

The family of Rajkumar is promoting the institute.

Ms. Rajkumar took part in the Suvarna Karnataka celebrations organised at the samadhi.

She was accompanied by her sons Raghavendra, Shivraj and Puneet.

Mr. Raghavendra Rajkumar told presspersons that the work of making the samadhi of his father as a tourist spot would start shortly.
