More rules, less good

Reams have been written about the collapse of the agriculture sector in the State. But an ordinary farmer has to go through several ordeals. Earlier, the landowner was free to cultivate any crop . Agriculture crisis was then unheard of in the State when there were fewer rules. Now the fundamental right of choosing a crop is being curtailed. Farming depended mainly on weather environment and the economic capability of the farmer. Now, , cultivation depends on regulations. A farmer can change to a new crop, on his paddy field, only after getting a certificate from the District Collector.
