CUB raises NRE, FCNR deposit rates

CHENNAI: City Union Bank has raised the interest rates on NRE deposits to 6.34 per cent for one year, to 6.17 per cent for two years and to 6.11 per cent for three years. The bank has revised the rates for Foreign Currency Non-Resident deposits. The rates for U.S. dollar deposits are: 5.34 per cent for one year, 5.17 per cent for two years, 5.11 per cent for three years, 5.11 per cent for four years and 5.12 per cent for five years, says a bank release.
