SSI awards given away

ADILABAD: Gade Vinod Kumar of GMR solvents Adilabad was on Thursday given the best entrepreneur award for 2005-2006 instituted by the Small Scale Industries Department. Adilabad Collector R. Subba Rao, chief guest at the SSI day celebrations organised by the department here, handed over the best industrialist awards to M. Narsing Rao and Ch. Rama Rao managing partners of Ramakrishna bakery and Vishnu ceramics respectively of Mancherial. Branch managers of Andhra Bank at Jannaram and Kalyanakhani received the best bank manager awards. Bolluri Prasad and Md. Taher received awards for prompt running of PMRY units.
