`Government should apologise'

ALAPPUZHA: The Government owes an apology to the State for humiliating the former Chief Minister and DIC(K) leader K.Karunakaran by denying him entry to the inaugural function of the golden jubilee of the formation of the State, Kuttanad MLA Thomas Chandy has said.

At a press conference here on Thursday, Mr. Chandy said Mr. Karunakaran, one of the chief architects of modern Kerala, definitely deserved a better treatment.
