Many trains cancelled

HYDERABAD: For the fourth day in succession, the South Central Railway cancelled a number of trains due to continuous and heavy rainfall following which the floodwaters damaged track on the Gudivada-Machilipatnam section of Vijayawada division and Tenali-Repalle section of Guntur division.

According to a press release, the passenger trains cancelled are nos. D-109, 111, 116, 119 and 120 between Gudivada and Machilipatnam and nos. 402/403 Tenali-Repalle-Tenali and no. 477 Gudur-Vijayawada.
