Islamabad: Displaying contempt of sorts towards disgraced fast bowlers Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif, Pakistan media was ruthless in its projection of the stories relating to the ban imposed by the Pakistan Cricket Board on them.

Dawn carried the news on the front page with a screaming headline ``Dope tainted Shoaib and Asif banned'' while another leading daily The News also carried it on the front page. — PTI
