Prince Andrew comes a-calling

ROYAL VISITOR: Prince Andrew seen with Prabhat Verma, General Manager, Taj Coromandel, on Thursday.

Taj Coromandel has been hosting celebrities from different parts of the globe during the last week.

The Duke of York, Prince Andrew, second son and third child of the Queen, is put up at the hotel. His visit is part of a tour of India in his capacity as the United Kingdom's special representative for international trade and investment.

Earlier this week, the United States' 39th president, Jimmy Carter, along with his wife, Rosalynn, South Australian Premier Michael Rann, Bavarian Minister of Economics Erwin Huber, and former Prime Minister of Finland Esko Ahola stayed at the hotel.

Employees of the hotel feel it is the hospitality, luxury, culinary expertise and warmth that have drawn guests of such calibre to the place.
