There's no stopping the Chief Minister

Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi has not been keeping well for the past few days.

A chest congestion should have confined him to his house, but Mr. Karunanidhi would have none of it. On Wednesday, he attended a function to honour those who took part in the protest to ensure that Tamil Nadu did not lose significant lands to other States in the Fifties when the reorganisation of States was taking place. And, on Thursday, he was at a FICCI executive meeting. He has also been attending to party work, writing for the party organ, `Murasoli', and meeting scores of people every day.

Recently, he told someone who told him a throat problem would keep him away from attending a meeting, that getting the first few lines would be difficult. But, "then you will be fine!"
