HYDERABAD: A man's head was found in a dustbin at Kamatipura and the torso some 5 km away on the road at Rajendranagar on Thursday. A municipal worker, Narasimha, was pulling out garbage from a bin around 6 a.m. at Chandulal Baradari in Kamatipura when he found a plastic bag. He opened the bag and much to his horror found the man's head. Even as the police called in a dog squad and forensic experts to examine the scene for clues, locals of Hasannagar in Rajendranagar woke up to the shocking sight of a human torso lying on the road. Forensic experts later confirmed the head and torso belonged to the same person and that the victim was aged around 30 years. The police of Kamatipura and Rajendranagar registered separate murder cases. The police believe that a woman was involved in the murder. A tuft of hair in the hands of the victim suggests that the victim apparently resisted the woman attacker, the police said. There were bruises on his shoulder and back indicating that he was hit with some blunt weapon. A knife wrapped in a T-shirt, a torn blanket piece and a pillow were found near the torso.
