Chettinad board nod for merger scheme

CHENNAI: Chettinad Cement Corporation has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that the board of directors of the company, at its meeting held on October 24, has approved the scheme of amalgamation of two wholly owned subsidiaries — Sabari Cements (Chennai) Ltd., and High-Tech Lime Products Ltd. — with the company.
