Real estate trader opens fire at rivals

HYDERABAD:
A real estate businessman allegedly shot at two of his opponents with his licensed revolver at Muradnagar in Asifnagar late on Friday night, accusing the latter of trying to liquidate him.
`In self-defence'
Businessman Jaleel approached the police later saying that he opened fire in self-defence when Yousuf and Layeeq attacked him with swords while they were discussing rights over a house. Cases of attempt to murder and assault were registered against Jaleel and Yousuf and Lyaeeq respectively. Jaleel and his friend Wazid, both residents of Tolichowki, had a dispute over ownership of a house in Muradnagar with Yousuf and Layeeq, Asifnagar ACP Mahender Reddy said.
