Museum open today

The Salar Jung Museum where fire broke out in the auditorium of Nawab Mir Turab Bhavan (western block) on Friday will function from Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors for the Nizam Jewellery exhibition will be allowed from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to Director A. Nagendra Reddy.

RTC phone-in

The RTC city region is providing an opportunity for commuters on Sunday to give suggestions and complaints about its services in the twin cities. Zonal Chairman K. Sanjeeva Reddy will be replying to queries on phone no. 040-23443322 between 11 a.m. and noon.

Pusthak mela

Over 10,000 books are on display at the third Hyderabad Pusthak Mela organised by Visalaandhra Book House at YMCA Hall in Narayanguda, according to Book House manager S. Raju. Discount from 10 to 50 per cent is being offered. The fair is on till November 12 between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m.

Holy procession

As part of the birth anniversary celebrations of Guru Nanak, a colourful holy procession(nagar keertan) was taken out from Gurudwara Saheb Guru Singh Sabha, Ashok Bazar, Afzalgunj, on Friday. On Sunday, vishal deewan will be held at the Exhibition Grounds, MJ Road, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A night keertan darbar will also be organsied at Gurudwara Sri Guru Sabha, Afzalgunj from 9.30 p.m. to 2 a.m.
