Selected for Swadeshi Science Award

Kochi: K.G. Nair, director of the Centre for Science in Society (C-Sis) at the Cochin University of Science and Technology, has been selected for the Swadeshi Science Award 2006.

Dr. Nair will receive the award at a function at Devaswom Board College in Parumala on November 9.

The founder-director of the Sophisticated Test and Instrumentation Centre at Cochin University, Dr. Nair had written several science books and poems.
