National meet on vascular diseases

NEW DELHI: Sir Ganga Ram Hospital will host a national conference of the Vascular Society of India this month. With millions of Indians suffering from vascular diseases due to wide prevalence of diabetes, the conference would discuss some important related issues.

"Ignorance among patients suffering from peripheral arterial diseases is very common. Reaching The conference will focus on technological advances that have taken place in the country and abroad. The theme of the conference, "The Endovascular Revolutions", will provide a baseline treatment protocol. The conference will concentrate on "Puncture hole" surgery surgery, which is about minimal invasion.
