Northeast monsoon active over T.N.

CHENNAI: Northeast monsoon has been active over Tamil Nadu, south coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema.

Rainfall occurred at most places over coastal Tamil Nadu, at many places over interior Tamil Nadu, south coastal A.P., Rayalaseema and at a few places over Kerala, Lakshadweep and south interior Karnataka. Isolated rainfall occurred over north coastal A.P., Telangana, coastal and north interior Karnataka.

Forecast (valid until Monday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and south coastal A.P. and at a few places over Rayalaseema, Telangana, Kerala, Lakshadweep and south interior Karnataka. Isolated rain or thundershowers are also likely in north coastal A.P., coastal and north interior Karnataka.
