HASSAN: With the "wealthy" enjoying the benefits of reservation provided by the Constitution, the needy are being denied of social justice, Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy said. Inaugurating the newly-constructed building of Ambedkar Bhavan in Hassan on Friday, he observed that though some politicians were representing reserved constituencies for the past several years, they were still not prepared to vacate the constituency to provide opportunity for younger generation. Referring to the creamy layer still clinging to reservation, he said that similar was the situation in the field of employment. Those, who have benefited from reservation, were not prepared to forsake their claim even after achieving their goal and they still wanted to exploit reservation policy. Because of this real beneficiaries were denied of the facility, he said.
