MANGALORE: The Department of Journalism, St. Aloysius College, has announced the second editions of its "Shootings Stars", a short film-making competition cum film festival for students to be held from December 2006 up to February 2007. The theme of "Shooting Stars" this year is "Youth and shaping a better society". In an attempt to encourage youngsters to make films in Kannada and Konkani lanaguages, the competition promises to support Kannada and Konkani student film-makers, with attractive incentives.
