Prajapita Brahma Kumaris celebrate jubilee

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: The platinum jubilee celebrations of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, the world's largest spiritual organisation led by women, were formally launched at Siri Fort Auditorium here on Saturday.

Dadi Janki and Dadi Hirdaya Mohini, Additional Chief and Joint Chief of Brahma Kumaris, respectively, were felicitated by Delhi Mayor Farhad Suri on the occasion. Dadi Janki said the growing violence in the world where millions of people were crying out for relief from sorrow and pain lent added urgency to the task of the Brahma Kumaris. "Through Rajyoga meditation," she said, "the members of the institution that is working in 127 countries will ensure that people got to know the way to achieve peace."
