MANGALORE: A new homoeopathy medical college and hospital building at the Father Muller Charitable Institutions (FMCI) will be inaugurated at Deralakatte on Tuesday, Baptist Menezes, director, FMCI, said at a press conference on Saturday. At present, the homoeopathy college and hospital is housed in a separate building at the Kankanady campus of the institutions. The Deralakatte campus was constructed at a cost of Rs. 5 crore, Dr. Menezes said. The college building with a floor area of 100,000 sq ft has classrooms equipped with remote controlled LCD, separate conference and exam halls, and exclusive visual aids, he said. A 150-bed hospital is under development on the campus. The ground floor of the three level building will be ready on the day of the inauguration.
