HYDERABAD : Nalgonda MP and CPI national secretary Suravaram Sudhakara Reddy and Rajya Sabha member Aziz Pasha went on a padayatra at Hafiz Babanagar area in old city and interacted with various sections on Saturday. Lack of even one Government Hospital in the area forcing poor to go to private hospitals shocked the MPs. Poor frequency of RTC buses, few ration shop depots, transfer of kerosene to black market creating an artificial shortage were some of the issues brought to their notice by the residents. The CPI MPs also visited Babanagar Urdu Medium Upper Primary and High School and observed five classes from first to fifth standards being run in a single room without any furniture or even a fan or drinking water facility. The MPs also witnessed the plight of nine Government schools being run in single building at Kokabazar with no playground for any kind of recreation.
