TDP demands cut in oil prices

NEW DELHI: The Telugu Desam Parliamentary Party on Sunday demanded reduction in prices of petrol and diesel.

In a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, TDPP leader K. Yerrannaidu and TDP leader in the Rajya Sabha R. Chandrasekhar Reddy, stated that the price of international crude oil was hovering around $ 57 a barrel against the peak of $ 71 a barrel during May.
