THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Ramesh Chennithala, president of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) said here on Sunday that the Students Federation of India (SFI) was challenging the rule of law by unleashing violence in different parts of the State. In a statement here, the KPCC president recalled that the SFI had resorted to widespread violence over the agitation against self-financing colleges. On Saturday, they had clashed with police in Pathanamthitta and released its district leader forcibly from the police station. At Attingal in Thiruvananthapuram district, SFI activists had attacked the principal and staff of the Government Polytechnic.
