HYDERABAD: The University College of Law, Osmania University, will have a mini conference and moot court hall soon thanks to Chairman, Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh, A. Narasimha Reddy. Mr. Reddy, who is an alumnus of the college, has announced that he will bear the entire cost of Rs. 7.2 lakhs for the construction of the moot court. He handed over a cheque for Rs. 5 lakhs to Justice L. Narasimha Reddy, Judge, Andhra Pradesh High Court and Dean, Faculty of Law, Osmania University at the annual sports day function of the college on Saturday. Inspired by his gesture other alumni present on the occasion also decided to contribute towards books for the library and institution of cash prizes for meritorious performance in sports and academics. Justice L. Narasimha Reddy explained the growing importance of the legal profession and increasing opportunities in it. He advised students to keep themselves abreast of developments in the field to get good placements in this competitive age. G.B. Reddy, Principal of the college submitted the college annual report. Panth Naik, Vice-Principal of the college and other professors, Members of the Law Alumni Association of OU, and a large number of students attended.
