Power shutdown

Power supply to the following areas will not be available on November 6, 7 and 8 from I p.m. to 2 p.m. owing to improvement works at the Madukkarai substation.

Kuniamuthur, Athupalam, Madukkarai, K.K Chavady, Kummittipathy, Vazhukkuparai, Palathurai, Valayar, Seera Palayam, Sidco, Podanur, Sundarapuram, Eachanari, Othakalmandapam, Malumichampatty and nearby areas.

Cancer camp

NSS Unit and Department of Microbiology of NGP Arts and Science College in association with Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Oncology and Research, Coimbatore, will conduct a one-day awareness camp on cancer at SITRA bus stop on November 7. The camp would be held from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pamphlets containing causes for cancer, signs, symptoms, treatment and preventive measures of cancer will be distributed.
