Sutlej Textiles net up 125 p.c.

CHENNAI: Sutlej Textiles and Industries recorded a smart rise in its net profit at Rs. 11.28 crore in the three months ended September 30, 2006, as compared to Rs. 5 crore in the year-ago period. The turnover was higher at Rs. 184 crore against Rs. 156 crore. The company has a spinning capacity of 1.63 lakh spindles in its two spinning units. The company is implementing various projects at an investment of Rs. 531 crore, says a release.
