DEHRA DUN: Uttaranchal Chief Minister Narayan Dutt Tiwari has called for a strict vigil along the inter-State borders so that anti-social elements do not enter and try to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere vital for all kinds of development activity. Reviewing the law and order situation here on Tuesday, Mr. Tiwari urged the Director-General of Police, Kanchan Chaudhary, to ask her team of officers and men to establish a close liaison with the local community as well as the investors coming up with big projects. "We have brought the investments and now it is for the local community and the police and civil administration to ensure peace and keep out disruptive forces," he said. The State Chief Secretary, Surjeet K. Das, and senior officers were among those present.
