CHENNAI: The theme for the event was `Passion', and the spirit was prevalent throughout the evening. The evening started with a presentation of great personalities who had dedicated their services to the country in their respective fields. The names in the list were disparate, including Mahatma Gandhi, Sachin Tendulkar, Narayan Moorthy, etc. Two skits, one on the passion for power and another on the passion for love and affection portrayed various facets of passion.
Entertainment
So did the foot tapping dance performance and live music, which made the audience cheer at the top of its voice. Entertainment must always be accompanied by a serious message. And this event was no exception to the rule. Miming on passion for society and the nation, `Aagaman - Ushering of New Spirits', held recently, was the freshers' welcome nite organised by The Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM). At Aagaman, the students got the atmosphere to crack the cocoon around them and enter the dynamic corporate world. The freshers' party is a time when the new bunch of students exhibit their talents, create a rapport with their seniors, and have fun doing it.
