Bishop Cotton students reach out to the poor

BANGALORE:
Members of the Interact Club of Bishop Cotton Boys' School, St. Mark's Road distributed blankets, old clothes and snacks to the poor people on Monday.
The activity was part of ICOP (Interactors of Cottons on Patrol) project and about 90 students took part in the programme. Quresh Merchant, Rotary Midtown president and Rohitesh, Director New Generation - Rotary Midtown, Bangalore, inaugurated the project on Mahatma Gandhi Road. "The aim of the project was to make people aware that you can make a difference. If each one of us works at removing poverty or illiteracy, we can make a huge difference," said Mohamed Kaamil Ismail, president of the school's Interact Club.
