Polio surgery camp postponed

The polio surgery camp to be held at Government General Hospital in the city on November 8 and 9 has been postponed in view of flood situation in Krishna district. The next date of camp will be informed later.

Supply of fodder

The Krishna District Milk Producers Mutually Aided Cooperative Union Limited has made arrangements for supply of fodder and de-worming for cattle to prevent any outbreak diseases among cattle in the district. Milk Union chairman Mandava Janakiramaiah said that farmers should take care of their cattle in all flood-hit villages. They should use vaccination to prevent diseases.

CPI(M) celebrates Oct. revolution

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) city committee organised celebrations to mark October revolution in Russia. State secretary of CPM B.V. Raghavulu hoisted a red flag at Sundaraiah Bhavan. Speaking on the occasion, he said efforts should be made to spread the spirit of the October socialist revolution.

CPI leader's call

The Communist Party of India celebrated October revolution. CPI floor leader in the VMCP. Gowtham Reddy said that the communists should rededicate themselves to the cause of socialism. Red flags were hoisted at Satyanaraynapuram, Lakshminagar, Madhuranagar and Muthyalampadu.
