Chennai: Delhi's Richa Mishra was declared the individual champion in the swimming event of the National women's sports festival at the Velachery Aquatics Complex here on Wednesday.

The results: Basketball: Tamil Nadu 48 (Teena Annie Thomas 15, Victoria P. Mathew 13) bt Maharashtra 26 (Aarti Shidikar 12); Goa 29 bt Jharkhand 14 (Vandana Warliks 10); M.P. 22 bt Rajasthan 17 (Kavitha Saini 15); Karnataka 28 bt J & K 9; Chhattisgarh 50 (Manjita 19, Jyoti Kiran 11) bt Orissa 23; West Bengal 31 bt Uttaranchal 8; Punjab 45 (Mala 17, Sukhbir Kaur 11) bt Tripura 28 (Anita Noatia 16); Kerala 41 (K. R. Neethu 14) bt Andhra Pradesh 36 (Bhavani 11).

Gymnastics (all-around individual championship): 1. M. Sridevi (A.P.) 46.35, 2. Rohika (Punjab) 45.60, 3. B. Aruna (A.P.), 44.75.
