Sharad Haksar continues winning streak

CHENNAI:
Chennai-based lensman Sharad Haksar bagged about a dozen honours at the International Photography Awards 2006.
Haksar won the silver and the bronze awards for his `5-in-1 Dog' picture, created for the Blue Cross `Wacky Dog Show', apart from nine honourable mentions. He has also earned merit in the commercial photography category in th ePDN Pix Digital Imaging contest.
Haksar's shots for Stori's `Superhero' advertising campaign won him the merit in the 12th edition of the Pix contest.
Talking about the awards, Haksar said, "PDN Pix and IPA are tough nuts. It's not easy to win when you're fighting with thousands of world class photographers. I am happy that I continued my winning streak this year."
Haksar's shots would be showcased in Luerzer's Archive Top 2000 Photographers' book. The entries in Luerzer's has given him more pleasure, "To be bracketed with 199 great photographers does feel special."
