Advocates urged to work for poor

HYDERABAD: High Court Justice Bilal Nazki on Wednesday called upon senior advocates to work for the poor and ensure justice to them. He was participating as a chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the Metropolitan Criminal Courts Bar Association here. Metropolitan Sessions Judge S. Bhujanga Rao said the bar members should explore the possibilities of settling cases registered under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act through Lok Adalats. Justice Gopala Krishna Tamada and Andhra Pradesh Bar Council Chairman A. Narasimha Reddy were among those who were present on the occasion.
