Commission's term extended

NEW DELHI: The term of the National Commission for Religious and Linguistic Minorities has been extended by five months. Constituted in October 2004, the tenure of its Chairperson, members and Member-Secretary ended on October 31.

On Thursday, the Government announced that the term of the Commission has been extended till March 31, 2007.
