S.S. GHS clinches title

Ramanathapuram: P. Kalidasan's strike helped S.S. Government Higher Secondary School Rajapalayam defeat Kshatriya Vidyasala Higher Secondary School, Virudhunagar, 1-0 to clinch the boys' under-19 hockey title in the final of the Ramanathapuram Divisional inter-educational games meet at Syed Ammal Engineering College ground, Ramanathapuram on Thursday.

S.B.K.HSS Aruppukottai won the boys U-17 title defeating Raja's HSS, Sivagangai, 4-0 in the final. Karthik Pandian, Ananda Sasi Krishnan, Thirumeni Perumal and Alagarsamy scored.

Kshatriya GHS bags double

Kshatriya Girls Higher Secondary School, Virudhunagar, won two titles volleyball and basketball in the girls' under-19 section in the Ramanathapuram divisional inter-educational district schools games meet at Paramakudi on Thursday.

Sarah Tucker GHS dominates

Sarah Tucker Girls Higher Secondary School (Palayamkottai) dominated the proceedings in the girls' section of the Tirunelveli Divisional inter-educational district schools games meet at Tuticorin on Thursday.

Mohanachandran to lead

C. Mohanachandran of Tiruchi and R. Mohana of Pudukottai will lead the Tamil Nadu men's and women's teams respectively at the VIII south zone netball Championship to be held at Khammam, Andhra Pradesh, from November 17 to 19.
