Yere Goud in Railways' probables

Bangalore: Railways' batting mainstay Yere Goud figures in the 34-member Karnataka Ranji probables list announced here on Thursday. "I have got my `No-Objection-Certificate' from the Railways," said Yere Goud, who earlier led the KSCA XI in its season-opener tournaments like the KSCA Diamond Jubilee championship.

It will be a return to his roots as Yere Goud, who plays for Malleswaram Gymkhana in the local league, opted for Railways in the 90s as he did not get adequate chances with the Karnataka team. Meanwhile, experienced fast bowler Dodda Ganesh does not find a place in the probables list.

In the Ranji Trophy Elite Division, Karnataka is placed in Group A along with Uttar Pradesh, Baroda, Delhi, Andhra, Haryana, Saurashtra and Tamil Nadu. Karnataka will open its Ranji campaign against Baroda commencing at Baroda on November 23.
