NEW DELHI: Three persons have been arrested by the North Delhi police for allegedly killing a man in the early hours of Monday. According to the police, the accused -- Amar Singh, Satish and Ravinder -- were arrested for killing Jitender. Earlier, Jitender was spotted lying on a road by a police constable who had rushed him Sushrut Trauma Centre in North Delhi where he breathed his last. According to the police, investigations revealed that the accused held a grudge against Jitender and had spotted him at a marriage on Sunday night. They picked up a quarrel with him. Jitender tried to run away but the accused chased him and then beat him up badly. The police said Jitender and his father were involved in the murder of one Man Singh in Paharganj on October 12, 2003. They were arrested in the case and later released on bail. Amar, a nephew of Man Singh, held a grudge against Jitender and always tried to find ways to pick up a fight with him. Efforts are on to nab the fourth accused, Manish.
