Send MPs to Delhi on Eelam mission, says Ramadoss

CHENNAI: The State Government should send a high-powered parliamentary delegation to impress upon the Centre the need to caution the Sri Lankan Government to stop the massacre of innocent Tamils, PMK founder S. Ramadoss said in a press release on Thursday.

The delegation, to be headed either by the Chief Minister or a senior Minister, should comprise members elected from the State to both Houses of Parliament. It should meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress president Sonia Gandhi and representatives of all political parties to garner support for the Sri Lankan Tamil population.

Both the Central and State Governments should act responsibly to save them Sri Lankan Tamil population, he said.
