Ornamental plants exhibition

The Association of People with Disability will conduct "Garden Fair", a five-day sale of exotic ornamental plants and herbs from Friday. The event will be held at 9th "B" Main LIC Colony, Jeevanabhima Nagar, HAL 3rd Stage, Bangalore, between 9.30 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Prize-winning paintings

SyndicateBank on Saturday will give out the prizes for the winners of painting competition for children conducted on October 29. The paintings will be exhibited on Sunday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Both the events will be held at the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath. The list of winners will be on the bank's website and will be displayed at all the branches of the bank.

Ayurveda camp

Poornayu Ayurveda Hospital will conduct a consultation camp on slip disc, spondylitis, rheumatic arthritis, paralysis, diabetes, ulcer and other chronic disorders on November 12. For details, call 23528787.

Model UN

Vidya Niketan School, Hebbal, will be hosting Bangalore Model United Nations 2006, an authentic simulation of the UN General Assembly, on November 17 and 18. More than 40 teams of students will represent various member countries. The teams will debate on "Restoration of peace and governance in post conflict situations." For details, call 23620454.

Training

Rudset Institute, Arashinate, will conduct a telephone and mobile phone repair training for 30 days. Interested youths aged 18 to 35 from can attend the interview.
