NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court-appointed Monitoring Committee on Thursday decided to grant the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) a month to shift to another location from its office in Safdarjung Enclave at South Delhi. The TRAI office had been sealed on Wednesday after the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) had resumed its sealing drive. The Monitoring Committee issued directions to MCD to de-seal the TRAI office for a month. TRAI had approached the Monitoring Committee earlier in the day requesting to allow it to function in the same premises for a month to clear important pending cases and shift to a new location.
