India Cements beats SBI

Hyderabad: Centuries by Santosh Yadav (115 not out, 7 x 4) and Abhinav Kumar (101, 5 x 4) helped India Cements score a convincing, 101-run win against State Bank of India in the A-Division (one-day) knock-out cricket tournament here on Friday.

The scores: A-Division (one-day) knock-out: India Cements 280 for five (Santosh Yadav 115 not out, Abhinav Kumar 101, Gautam Reddy 43) bt SBI 179 for eight (Ibrahim 56, G.N. Srinivas 43).

Inter-schools (under-13): Delhi Public School 168 (Aman Sharma 45, Prashanth 30, Praharith three for 14) lost to Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan 169 for five (C. Prajeet 88 not out, Varun Reddy 40, Siddarth three for 29).

Gowtham Model School 177 for six (R. Arun Dev 77, Mallikarjun 32, Ujwal three for 24) bt St. Patrick's HS 108 (M. Pruthvi Raj five for 19, Vishnu Chaitanya four for 17).

St. Joseph's HS 92 (Abiradh 41, Raghu Ram four for 27, Nikhil Deep four for four) lost to St. Andrews `B' 93 for no loss (B. Anirudh 52 not out).
