PUNE: Sixth seed Nungnadda Wannasuk of Thailand outplayed top-seeded Isha Lakhani 6-1, 6-3 in the semifinals of the NECC $10,000 ITF women's tennis tournament at the Deccan Gymkhana Club courts on Friday. Isha had the consolation of winning the doubles title with Ksenia Palkina of Kyrgyzstan. The results: Singles (semifinals): Nungnadda Wannasuk (Tha) bt Isha Lakhani 6-1, 6-3; Amina Rakhim (Kaz) bt Meghha Vakaria 6-7(6), 6-3, 7-6(4). Doubles (final): Ksenia Palkina (Kgz) and Isha Lakhani bt Nungnadda Wannasuk (Tha) and Madhura Ranganathan 6-3, 4-6, 6-4.
