Coast Guard station commissioned

Kakinada: Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy on Friday commissioned the Coast Guard station, the 29th station in the country and second in the State, at a ceremonial function held in the port area here.

Speaking on the occasion, he said efforts would be made to start a naval training institute also.

Union Minister of State for Defence M.M. Pallamraju, Vice Admiral R.S. Contractor, Director-General, Coast Guard and other officials were present.
