Vaiko condemns killing of Raviraj

CHENNAI: MDMK general secretary Vaiko on Friday condemned the killing of Nadarajah Raviraj, Sri Lankan legislator of the Tamil National Alliance. In a statement, Mr Vaiko said the legislator had been killed only because he had voiced protest against the killing of displaced civilians.

To express solidarity for Sri Lankan Tamils, the party would hold a demonstration near the office of the Sri Lankan Deputy High Commission here on November 17.
