KOCHI: Even meritorious students are finding it difficult to get admission to educational institutions because education is becoming a business in Kerala, according to K.C. Venugopal, MLA. Mr. Venugopal was inaugurating a State leadership camp organised by the Kerala Private College Teachers' Association (KPCTA) here on Saturday. He said the LDF Government's policies on education were flawed. Arts and science colleges have been badly affected by the changes initiated at the higher secondary level. Colleges could be converted into research centres.
