Investment options in commodity market

HYDERABAD: As business in the equity markets continues to increase by the day, experts are inviting investors to concentrate on the futures trading in commodity market that is set to increase leaps and bounds in the near future.

The business that commenced in 2003 is still at nascent stage with Rs. 15,000 crores turnover, but is set to grow rapidly, Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd (MCX) vice-president (business promotion) Madhav Reddy, said.

He was participating in a seminar on `Investment opportunities in commodity markets' organised by Sharekhan, one of the founder members of the two commodity exchanges in the country, here on Saturday.
