4-year-old boy to ride motorcycle blindfolded

Staff Correspondent

BELLARY: Four-and-a-half-year-old Srivatsa Hemmadi is all set to create a world record by riding a mini motorcycle blindfolded. He had created a record by performing magic when he was one-and-a-half years old.

From Venkateshwara temple, near Satyanarayanpet, he will ride up to Brucepet Circle, passing via Indira Gandhi Circle, Royal Circle and Bangalore Road covering a stretch of two kilometre.

The event will be held on the occasion of Childrens' Day on November 14.

The boy's father, Prakash Hemmadi, a hotelier and a magician too, has kept ready a battery-operated mini motorcycle with limited speed for his son to perform the show.

Two small wheels have been attached to it to guard him against falling off.

"We have held rehearsal rides to give him an idea of the route. I am confident that he will succeed," says Mr. Hemmadi.

Video clippings of the ride will be forwarded to Limca Book of Records for documentation.

Srivatsa has performed 78 magic shows within the State and outside. He performed the Indian rope trick at Narayanrao Park here at the age of three.
