To tide over rush of passengers during the Mandalam season

KOCHI: The district office of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has arranged for more services to tide over the rush of passengers during the Mandalam season.

Special services will be available from the Ernakulam depot to Pamba via Pathanamthitta. Prior reservation facility will be available for buses starting at 9 a.m., 9 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Charges for the fast passenger to Pamba will be Rs.114 and for the super fast service Rs.120. Special buses to Pamba will be arranged on request if there are at least 40 persons from a place within a 10-km radius of a bus station. An extra fee of Rs.10 will be charged for this service.

For pilgrims coming from other States by train, bus services will be available from the Ernakulam South railway station, as in the earlier years. A temporary control room will be set up on November 16 to help the pilgrims with their enquiries and provide guidance.
